QuickEST is the ultimate estimating toolkit! It is the most powerful estimating system available, at any price. QuickEST seemlessly integrates procedure based takeoff, assembly takeoff, item takeoff , lump sum quotes and discounted item quotes into your estimate. Pricing may be by Reqion, using your preferred suppliers, and a Price Book (Version V) may be imported from a supplier or emailed to a supplier to confirm or update his prices. Assemblies or Items may use the 'Group Selection' feature allowing you to defer the selectionn of the type, size, grade or method until takeoff time.

The optional Bid Day Module is a quote processing machine that always shows you the status of your estimate, highlighting missing quotes or takeoff. Quotes for Base Bid or Alternate Pay Items may be entered. Also Combination Quotes (one price for multiple bid items) may be entered. The Bid Day Module analyzes the quotes to recommend the lowest combination of quotes for the base bid and for each of the alternates. This is VERY powerful!

QuickCALC installs with a Base System, and three optional modules, as follows:

  • The Base Module allows for Assembly, Item, and lump sum quotes, described above.
  • The optional Procedure Module allows you to develop your own estimating Procedures allowing you to make your estimates more consistant and less prone to errors and omissions. Procedures guide the estimator through the takeoff process, asking questions, calculating qualtities, and extending the quantities to Assemblies and Items.
  • The optional Bid Day Module makes quote entry and selection a breeze, recommending the lowest combination of quotes but alowing you to override the selection, as required. The Bid Day Module also allows the entry and selection of discounted quotes for Items from multiple suppliers, by Purchasing Group.
  • The optional Digitizer Module integrates QuickCALC digitizer or on-screen takeoff into QuickEST, allowing easy takeoff of areas, lengths and quantities.
